Hey i saw the POT telecaster in the G77 window the other day... very sweeet..

didn't realise the prices are so steep though. Anyone have any idea what goes into those guitars > wood, pickups, hardware?

why don't you go in and ask uncle dennis or beez, they custom order those guitars, if you want a customised guitar, they also do take orders, but you should noe exactly what you want, e.g. a double neck 12/6 string, 25.5" scale, gotoh floyd on the 6 strings side, 24 fret neck for, super jumbo frets, half scallops on frets 19-24 birdseye maple fingerboard, flame maple neck, 2 humbuckers for each neck, hot wound bridge pickups, and mellower neck pickups, an alder body, with a denim finish

just a very exotic example, haha

if i had the cash thats wad id get, heehee

anw the POT guitars arent that pricey for a custom hand made instument

POT = Product of thailand right.. The site mentioned earlier is the manufacturer's site. Beautiful for the price. Maybe you guys who are interested should just send an email to the manufacturer. They have a contact who you can mail or call for Singapore. Better to talk to them direct to get a feel of both prices and options.

Ahhh... they are all custom-made guitars then? no wonder it's priced that way. i thought they were just making mass-production copies.

Like jeremyrozario said, actually they are quite cheap for custom-made instruments. Great to see that we now have a direct link to these more affordable custom-made guitars, thanks to G77. :D

the Ibanez ValBee amp is now available @ swee lee. List: $375

tried it today- it's one of the best full tube unit to have crossed my path, despite being a dwarf. it's only 5W, gets driven easily by volume- impressive to say the least.

the some of they are okay la. the gt seems to have lots of upgraded hardwares and such but gosh the flames, yucks.

and the menace is alike the discontinued goth/voodoo series

edit: check out the SGs too, theres a slim body SG too, haha what now paper thin?

all thinner bodies, less material? cutting cost? should be cheaper right? Or did Gibson finally understood what Ibanez S-series is all about...

I would say the new models are quite visually interesting, but of course not everyone's cup of tea. Too modern-looking, i suppose. I didnt think that Gibson would try to reinvent the LP, but seems like they're trying to.

The thinner deisgn will please some, cos of weight reduction and better playability, but i think it deviates from the original LP body abit too much for me.

Maybe Gibson will have a contoured-body LP ala Fender and Ibanez next!
