Gaahl is GAY?! ZOMG!

what's wrong with an artist's sexual orientation? as long as he still produces good music, who cares if he is gay or straight or has a fetish for animals?

rob halford has long announced that he's gay but look at the amount of support fans still give to judas priest? proof that sexual orientation shouldnt be a factor in deciding whether a band's music is good or not.

That's about as black metal as you can get man, going against the very grain of God's disposition of natural sexuality.

This is old news... and Gaahl is not a satanist. He is only uses satan as a metaphor for anti-christianity.

The next time anybody says 'only real men listen to metal', he has to think twice.

maybe the dude is an anti christian and sings about satanism due to all the righteous christian disapproval of his lifestyle... let him lead his own life yo

He is a satanist.
There are two types of satanists, atheistic satanists and theistic satanists. He is the former.
He says he isn't satanist but his beliefs are exactly those of atheistic satanists.
I think he's pretty interesting, there's this documentary that fixates on him which is very entertaining, it's somewhere on the net.

On the subject of homosexuality - do you think cats can be gay?

I've got two one year old twin male cats which are not neutered and one of them just came back from a 3 day excursion outside by himself.

Then I found them to going at it on the kitchen floor just now!

Just like if you watch Animal Planet, one cat is mounting the other (the one which just came back) and biting his neck! Just like when you them lions mating on those animal sex shows.

Anybody knows why this is happening?

My theory is that the cat which just came back has been romping around with female cats downstairs and is carrying with him the female scent, and maybe the female cat was in heat. So, the other cat which tried to hump his brother is just going on pure instincts to mate, because animals don't really have sex for pleasure.

You reckon that's logical?

Erm, in case you do not know, homosexuality is ever present in nature.

Yes, but the main difference would be most, if not all animals, mate purely by instinct. That is the commonly held concept.

And it makes sense if my two cats, which are indoor cats, affectionally nuzzle, caress and groom each other because they have not been exposed to other cats all their lives, so have gotten use to one another but to see with my own eyes one trying to mount the other, and clearly trying to mate, is another thing altogether.

So, that's why I asked - can it be possible that the other cat is trying to mount his brother purely just because of a presence of a scent of a female? That they don't rely on sight or logic or whatever it is?

I've never understood even how human males can have homosexual relationships (it still baffles me, and disgusts me), so seeing my two male cats at it, is like ....

:(

ps Yes, I do not know homosexuality is prevalent in the animal kingdom, save for chimpanzees but that doesn't change anything. It just means I am learning something new today.

I actually think that is a pretty logical explanation. Whether it is true or not, we will never know as animals are incapable of communicating their thoughts to us.

PS: Is it legal to own a Lynx in Singapore? I'm planning on getting a Eurasian Lynx.

Lynx pardinus is covered everywhere, they are pretty damn endangered. Lynx Lynx is not endangered and it's only moderately dangerous as a pet, but still, even in the UK, you have like 20 forms to sign if you are getting a lynx.

Anyway, why the many homophobic reactions? It's just Gaahl, I'd like to see how you homophobes respond if I chuck you in the middle of Soho in London.
