Hey. anyone been to this studio before? just asking... cos went there with my band the other day.. thought it was quite okay..

also, on their website they said they provide recording services.. anyone ever tried recording there? lol. Recommendations for recording studios would be greatly appreciated too...

p.s. "They" actually refers to one person.. the guy running the studio lol.

sanzo :
fourtones is spacious! I could run in circles all day but cos i'm flat foot and I'm a fatass I'd rather just slack and knockout on the sofa.

i'm not too sure on nas (owner ,extremely friendly guy, just really busy most of the time) recording, but I myself / chapter6 studios are affiliated and we do recording there or nas would recommend to either one of us depending on schedules and band preference. manpower can be shared that way without requiring to hire unreliable newbies.

p.s : that one person is singaporean and you do know that most singaporeans are capable of multitasking = worth a few foreign workers right? look at my signature, guess how many "people" is behind blueprintstudios lol.

studio

I've tried back beat studio which I must say have the cleanest practise rooms you can find but alittle more pricey. Also tried beat merchant which is nice. Has a large selection of instruments to choose from.

haha, sanzo, is this nigel?

Fourtones is good, spacious! Nice drumset too.

yeah its me. hahah.

apparently when i was there, the toms sounded weird. and nas(sp?) the owner was eating chicken rice when i came in, and was sleeping on the couch when i left -,- hahaha. anyway thanks for all your opinions, guys! i think its a nice place to jam too.. Not too ex also.. =)

sanzo :
1) toms sound weird = get your drummer to tune it?
2) owner was eating chicken rice = those are energy joules that keep him going to maintain the business and pay the rent + his bills
3) sleeping on the couch = shows that he's only human.not terminator. though you should have stomped him and share post here for a good laugh

Fourtones the best studio ever. Haha! Naz has got passion and dedication, you have no idea many times the equipment have been shifted around to get the best sound out of the room. Whatever you need just ask, and he'll try to get it for you. Never disappoints.

just go around studios and talk to the engineers to see how they can help you with your recording. this is a big time and money investments for bands.
there's many studio in the market. do your research and it would never goes wrong. :)

fourtones is good cos the guy is damn helpful and accomodating.

and downstairs got prc/thai asking you to drink beer

@blueprint studios lol i asked my drummer to try tuning it but didnt seem to solve the problem. he did it by ear anw. hahah well,id expected the 'runner'of the studio to be more 'serious',but i definitely dont mind more friendliness..
he seemed kinda quiet..but that was prob bcos we didnt really ask for anything when we went there lol.next time if i go there and he's sleeping,i'll post a picture xD

sanzo : your expectations can be met if you feedbacked nicely to a service provider's face than to post it in the forums. simple as that.

lol true. but didnt go and tell him. partially cos he was sleeping -,- haha. just posting it here for fun.. not for any feedback or complaint lol.

fourtones is a nice studio man, i love the room with the 8x10 bass cab. shiokness. Both naz and joe are the nicest studio dudes i've met so far. kudos to them man
