This is just a sad display of a publicity stunt for any source of attention from the guys from ronin. Their trying to bring back rock & roll, give me a break. The days of g&r are long since dead & even if its making a come back there are a 100s of you. But then again i give u alil credit for the pathetic attempts at getting ur cds sold, You guys have gone beyond my expectations of being corny & even started school tours.....wtfs with that. You wanna be a rockstar then behave like one. Giving away free guitars and all that just shows u have a good finance nothing more nothing less. Good luck & see u in 10 years as a has been in a tiny island call singapore.
What's wrong with TRYING to bring back rock and roll? There will not possibly be a massive revival of those days but at least they are contributing to the music scene, and they enjoy what they are doing.
What about YOU my fellow softie? They might not be rockstars but they try to bring music and joy and share the passion for music to others here in your tiny island Singapore.
What have you been doing our our local music scene? If you are part of it i am sure that you would have simple respect for the other bands, instead of hiding behind your computer screen trying to put others in a bad light.
So, quit hiding and come out to show them that you can be better then.

Never assume what ur enemy has or can do. Never be apart of ignorance though it might be true to be blissful in ur case. Lets talk abt the song then. If there is any duet , anyone & yes i mean me can pull it off better with a 3rd grade singer. Melody wise it sucked. Production sucked. Vocals could be better. Rock & roll aint dead. But how abt somthing new, we have axel, slash, sebastian batch, tommy lee. We dont need ronin. Your opinions are urs to shove up ur ass like mine. Im not hiding. You are assumptious. Now stop being a child n return to blowing them.

but i agree with him. Ronin has turned out to be a really corny band. with the school tours and stuff. I suppose mourn has the right to comment as a consumer. He wouldn't have mentioned the above if he has not seen them before. There is no need defending Ronin. They are a band, and as a band, they should take in suggestions, complaints and opinions from consumers. Hope that settles everything here. the thread is suppose to be advertising the song..haha not dissing the band.

I'll be frank. I don't like Ronin's music.
But their work ethic is truly admirable. That's one thing that a lot of local bands, especially the younger ones, should really try to emulate.
Sure, some of the things they do to get their music out there may be deemed corny. But in a country like Singapore, where opportunities for bands to reach out to the masses are very few and far between, you gotta take them when they come, whatever form or shape they come in.
The the school tour thing is imho genius. I can honestly say that there wouldn't be as many teenagers interested in local music as they do now had they not done the tour. They've introduced kids to local music and for that, we owe them. Why do I say this? I'm a teacher - and I see a lot of my kids being interested in local music in a way I've never seen before. And these are the kids who are gonna grow up and hopefully buy local bands' CDs.
So, to summarise, definitely not keen on the music but you can't knock their enterprise.

Hmm. What i like best about ronin is their keenness to break new ground and try new stuff.
They are true rockers, hell ho!! I heard once at they had a gig where the police wanted to break them up but they dint even care about being arrested, lol!!
I bet nobody else has the balls to do that in Singapore. But if you do, then well, you aint the first anyways!!!
