forgot what's that called, i think of it as the more common flame maple.
that would be perfect for any les paul.

Uesd to have a lust for Gibson Sg but after finding out that it cost over 3000+, that lust ended...hahaha...Way too far high for me...And also if I bought it I would probably be too precious about it and wouldnt play it much cos I dowan scratch or dirty a 3000+ guitar ....hahahah :lol:

anyway about slash signature, i think there are only 70+ in the world with slash owning 2 of them. his 1st signature with the mother of pearl snake design inlays....

my slash one is only epiphone. but its very nice to play on.

hey btw seekz dat pic u linked up on the previous page isnt birdseye maple. dats just a small piece of quilted maple. heres a sample of birdseye maple http://www.edroman.com/wood/birdmaple.htm

birdseye maple is rarely used as a figured top but rather ive seen it most on guitar necks. esp ernie balls and a select few fenders eg the us made robert cray strat. gibsons sadly hardly offer anything other than slightly figured flamed maple.
