Fender stratocaster

I would love one of the 7 string strats, but only with 22 frets. 24 frets on a strat squeezes the pickups together so much that it just looks wrong.

Yes B. For the hardcore metalheads, tuning'll go down to sometimes an A,G, or even an F. F is the lowest i've heard anyone go down to. It's pretty damned sick sounding as it is lol.

Re: Hmm

Lace Sensor PUs are noiseless fully covered single coiltype pick ups. They come in a variety of colors names like gold, silver and blue to represent their tone types. They are distinguished by their lack of exposed pole pieces. Lace sensors were origninally produced for Fenders. Now the have moved into the open market. The original Clapton Sig Strat featured Lace Golds. now they are replaced by Fender made noiseless PU.

The gold ones are very bell like giving the 50s tone.

And I think a Strat's neck can hold the tension pretty well...
Some try that on a Super Wizard neck...

i gonna get stoned but...

i hate lace sensors. :?

they just don't sound as good with overdrive to my ears... too clean.

there are MIK fenders.

just go down Sweelee Bras Brasah or Aljunied to have a look. they look distinctly different from the other Fenders (only the Fender logo on headstock, usually finished)
