Hey, i've got a highway 1 series, the tones pretty bright, and the guitar weighs a ton, however, if you get your equalization, tone and volume right, you can almost get the sound of every guitar you hear...

friends, a twist in the scheme of things...

the upcoming Fender sale will only conform to the following combination strictly for the Highway1 series:

*Strat + Tele: $1,450
*J-bass + P-bass: $1,650

effectively, you can't choose a bass-guitar combination... :axe:
 
With two of my friends and maybe one of my colleague, we are 100% motivated ....
At least, i buy a strat and my frien a tele ...

Sigh. I would love to buy it, but as it so happens I'm short on cash.

sale starts 27th March, will be effective for a week, however, if you choose to wait, you might just get leftovers...

revision: i'll update the list of interested parties on Friday, 25th March instead. we can use the 26th to finalise our contacts. thank you friends, for responding to my call. i'm not affiliated to the dealer of course... just that some of them trust that i can put this offer in perspective.

it seems that the sale tip-off (Fender sale in general, not just the Highway1 offer) is overlooked in this post, largely because the title of the thread cites the Highway1 only. if only people are not put off by the Highway1 reference... any any case, i still find them very satisfying, not marvellous definitely, but above-average 8)
