i used to own the Fender Bullet 15W amp which is superb clean. with added chorus, you'd wonder why other amps don't sound as good as this. however, the let down was its default overdrive which sounds very 'fried' & severely lacking in bass.

the Frontman 15 amp isn't appealing both clean & overdriven, rather than investing in these 2, there are other better value-for-$$ options out there. just tell us what you desire specs-wise, we'll chip in from there 8)

blahblah - what are u using now?

peavey blazer. hmm..

subversion: im considering something around 15 watts, has good cleans. saw the laney 15 watt one at sweelee..400 plus wth. 8O what do you suggest? nothing too expensive though. may also consider this laney tubefusion one dunno how many watts saw at sweelee today 500 plus bucks..looks very sexay.

I got a Kustom 30RC.... its pretty sweet! Warm, thick cleans... and a nice overdrive that if there is a TS9 infront of it, kicks into Metal easily!

But it wouldn't give you a nice stumming kind of thin clean tone... its just... warm and thick... :)

I'm using one presently ~
IT 's lovely ~!
the drive only sounds fried if you set it after 10-11 o'clock ...
something like the kindaof stock DS1 "dryness" ~

when in clean mode it can get to be abit trebbly ...
so if i'm playing something heavier, i'd switch on the drive channel and set the drive to zero ....~ It's got a lovely warmth to it ~!
