yea ...
tts cool... warwick/rockbass

but rockbass makes humbucker equipped basses?

isit ex ?

i didn't review it, i just tried it out- excessively 8) it's the Aerodyne jazz bass. the tone is exceptionally versatile as it features a P-type pickup in there.

no, the rockbass streamer sports 2 soapbar pickups. the corvette sports 2 jazz pickups, and the fortress a p and j.

i would think rockbasses cost either the same or slightly less than mexican fenders. not very sure. but less than 1k lah. i think about 600-800 from swee lee? can't really remember, but around there.

ah.. no.. the name rockbass is simply a subsidiary of warwick basses. it doesn't imply anything about looking like basses designed for rock or heavy rock music.

they do have one design that would be what u're looking for. that's the vampyre bass. its got all the sharp corners and stuff, like bc rich guitars. one jazz in the neck position and one humbucker in the bridge, but i think they put two jazz pickups instead of a single humbucking pickup. tried it out myself before. i don't have much recollection of how it felt like, but i remember there wasn't much to gripe about that bass. look it up online at http://www.warwickrockbass.com

hmmz but whats the tone Like >? haha i always had the notion that warwick onli made basses in those B.c rich body style designs...

i own both a mexican fender precission and jazz, both gotten 2nd hand and at about half their original prices. they're workhorses, nothing fantastic about their electronics or setup, but defintely better than some of the crap that's out there.

i wouldn't pay full price for those fenders though, they just don't give you enough bang for your buck.. if you can, go look around 2nd hand in the classifieds or something..

i'm content with my basses, not much of a snob myself, but weilding two basses definitely keeps things interesting

i can't tell you what the tone is like. you have to go and try it yourself. each person makes an instrument sound different.

anyway, warwick doesn't only make any bc rich kind of stuff. in fact the buzzard and vampyre are considered, in terms of design, the odd ones out from the rest of the collection.

i own a rockbass streamer.

even though it's juz a rockbass, u can really hear the growl.

one downside though: output is very low. i am considering of adding an active preamp to it to boost the output.

but overall, tone is really great.

believe me.

.

if i may add: my biggest pet peeves abt warwicks are the tight string spacing n the itty bitty neck. i prefer those p bass necks which are wider and imo, more comfy for fingering.

but still, whatever rocks your socks yes? :)

jazz basses have small nut widths too.

oh yea. just be contented with what we have and only upgrade when necessary la.

Hmmz

alright ... i ll take a real good look at warwick / rockbass when the time comes ... where can i get rockbass again ? swee lee only right ?
