my friend paid like 4k for his lasik..


he sed he cudnt sleep for 2 weeks..cos it hurts so much..u cant even open ur eyes.he sed it was hell.but since he wanted to be a pilot..he sed it was worth it.

but but..the risks..thank god i have a normal eyesight.

I don't see the point and there are more important things than that like getting the best possible sound & setup - on which, I find lacking in the "scene" generally.

Now now, don't have to start being condescending. No reason for you to actually get "worked up" over whatever I do, or not do. The only thing one should bother is whether the music's good, IMO, and not have to endure a band of prancing well-dressed clowns, of course, having the best of both worlds would rock best.

Besides, it might interest (or not) you to know that I'm no longer going in the direction of a get-as-many-gigs-as-possible-band. Perhaps an excuse to not bother on my side but I assure you its much more than that.

I'm fine with the dressing up portion actually. And seriously, I dont' mind "branching" out to different types of sounds/music...

However, that will have to wait till I'm satisfied with my current setup. Call it being self-critical (yes, go ahead and now tell me to be like that with my dressing) but I feel like absolute crap when I see/feel/hear any "lesser" tone/playing from myself.

Am I proud we had 2 practices before the gigs? Maybe - gotta show off and do the ego thing as per all guitarists right? But heck NO!

Either the best music or don't go perform. In this case, unfortunately, committments were made and that rendered the gig un-pull-out-able. Yes, I asked to.

But I do need some T-shirts... hmmm... shall sell a pedal or 2... Tee Hee Hee~

probably its because from the industry that im in thats why im really image conscious. the fact is since u can already play fairly well, so why not spend a small amount of your time to play dress up sometimes. in the end its all up to individuals, what we in this forum can do is to offer some kind of advice.

I decided to move on to something else... personal / religous reasons.

The singer & Jairus decided to come along too... so... hopefully, you will hear from us again in time to come.

The new band is also focused on original material so that would be cool IMO.
