ESP guitars...

heheh cant beat my experience. the guitar i wanted to pay for was already on the counter and i already had the money in my hand, ready to make payment. but guess what? they took the guitar away and put it back on the stand :)

oh. also bin chao chao.

until my friend said loudly "I THOUGHT YOU ARE PAYING FOR THE GUITAR ALREADY WHY HE TAKE AWAY!" then the guy paiseh then brought the guitar back to the counter. i just stand one side am chio.

Hey people.. don't be hitting on the old guy... He's actually quite nice. The first time i went there, i was a total noob, and he answered all my questions politely. I think i actually learned more about pickups from him rather than the Internet...

Its a bad time right now. Maybe the financial crisis is hitting guitar shops as well?

:-D:-D:-D Hahahaha! F**king old man really am a noob!

davis guitar owner, the uncle, has a very f**ked up attitude i tell u. he thinks his shop sells the most tip top guitars. and there we another loser guitar shop.. 'DAN's GUITAR'. i hate that shop i tell u. Custom made guitar.. watever crap man.. and mostly the custom made guitar are expensive not that are nice to play with.
dude KingDiamond. Try to be nicer, yeah? If you have nothing nice to say, then don't say it. The shopkeeper at Dan's happens to be an extra nice guy who goes all the way for customers. Kindly not let this thread turn into a "let's flame shops" thread.
Thanks.

maybe its not that old man, but one of the staff there. my friend was there and she didnt know anything about guitars that time. when she started to ask about electric guitars, the staff say why bother buying electric guitar when she so noob and didnt bother to serve her after that.

which didnt help at all. she ended up buying at swee lee where she had better experience, with the staff there explaining how electric guitars work.

That is a rather bad attitude la.... no excuses for shops like this imo

yea i was at davis trying out some ltd guitar and strumming away for like less than 2 mins. And that old man plugged out my cable from the amp. I was bloody pissed and asked him why he did that in quite an angry tone. He just said other people want to try out guitars cos its 'peak hour' as i quote him. What a mofo srsly. ANW, THE OWNER OF DAN'S GUITAR IS SUPPPPPER FRIENDLY LA AI YO. Got my first guitar washburn from there, and the owner had a big part to play in me choosing that guitar. haha :D

Guys.. try not flame their shop ah.. not very nice lei.. :Dquite understandable la.. as the shop is very popular among locals and you should see the peak hour. like cannot move when inside la.. quite understandable as i think they most likely had common experiences of ppl scratching the guitars etc by accident.

lOL the guitar unplugging without saying anything thing!

it happened to me when i was buying my guitar (PRS SE). i began trying for like 2 minutes suddenly he came over, took the guitar and just unplugged and turned off. my friend was like "what the hell?!"

so i went out to another store to try an edwards, din really like it, so suck thumb have to come back buy the PRS SE. and this happened before the "paying at counter and having my guitar put back on the rack" experience, on the same day, about 30 mins apart :)

love great customer service :)
