Epiphone guitars

Hmm

Actually is a Epiphone Les Paul Std good? In the aspect of ease of play (altho weight can be quite problematic at times). I'm contemplating on saving up for a Gibson rather than a Epiphone. What is your take?

I would suggest saving up for a Tokai instead of a Gibby.

I just saw the slash signature in guitar gallery yest and i was drooling like mad, but i still think Tokai is a smarter way to spend money.

Oh and the sticker on the slash said $12K !!!!!!

I think gibson is going mad!

Compare a Tokai LS150 with a LP standard, I think the specs are the same. but the price is like 3K less. Go figure

I'm using a Epi LP classic and i find it nice to play. other than the fact that my birdseye maple top is a veneer and the "eyes" look like someone used a hole puncher to make the circles.

go get those japanese made epiphones they use american PUs. the headstock is actually shaped exactly the same as a real gibson.

interesting read. was considering an epi lp myself recently and saw this thread again. but the jap ones on ishibashi i can't seem to find. i see gibson, fender, etc, but no burny or epiphone...am i missing something?
anyways, how much does an epi lp cost from ishibashi? thks!

wah...its so exp! the 50's LP std is almost sgd$1400...is it becos of jap made or somethin? but the tak matsumoto one is drool....:)
