only specialty pickups are not. and these specialties are used by peeps without gabajillion gain.

at this age... even the cheapest pickups are wax potted. just to WHAT EXTENT and HOW WELL it is wax potted.
 
Okay, then I must have mistaken- vacuum waxed.. Eg. dipped in wax..

Ah, nvm. The stock covers don't seem to match the duncan's poles exactly, and no shop in penin has a matching one :(

My epi's gonna wook weird- chrome-covered neck pu, and a zebra bridge..

MIK G-400. A bit banged up here and there, but it's only rock and roll and I like it :) Mastered a load of Led Zep and AC/DC licks on this baby.
 
Hmm.

Thanks guys. Yeah.. it's a wicked looking thing, sound has nothing to complain about in the overdrive department. However upgrading electronics and pickups by next month for coil-splits, along with out-of-phase and parallel switching.

The pickguard was painted about 2 years ago, and the lacquer overcoat has worn out in certain places due to aggressive playing.
