I think you might still be able to see my fat face at the battalion foyer, just look for "Battalion best shot - SAW" lol.

Hey long time no see. I've ORDed for 2 months already!
And guys, have fun in the army. Don't worry too much about it, you'd gain more than you can ever imagine.
Just give it your best shot, and everything you've. You'd get to do things you never will get to do elsewhere, experience things you'll never ever experience again, achieve things you never thought possible, and make some lifelong friends in the process as well.
In hindsight, I'm glad I went through army the proper way. It was a great time, but not great enough for me to take it up a career. Haha!

I'm referring to Orion. and Scorpion. My friends there seem shock at what I told them so far, and tell me about how nice their coys are. Definitely not Kestrel though...100 counts of 4 for everything.

I just passed out from Eagle (read, 26 weeks Extreme Obese) on the 10/12 last year. I know that sucky feeling on your 2/3 week of enlistment, where you had to help us do the saikang and then hearing the sound of "POP LO"
Hang in there, moderate obese! At least you don't have the extra 11 weeks. And the extra time that you do inside there will make you a mentally stronger person in the end.
Say hi to 3SG Eugene for me, if he's still there.
Edit: And yes, Kestrel is one crazy company. Not as siong as Ninja/Cougar though.

Doubt it. Not sure about SISPEC/OCS, but not Commando. They won't accept PES C/E, and even so there's a lot of stringent checks and exams u have to go through before you become a Commando.
How I know? I got selected (but I got injured
) and my cousin is now going thru Commando BMT HAHA
Anyway, Commandoes, on recieving their Red Berets, start to turn into muscle-brains, if u get my drift.
The common joke about Commandos (I'm out of there so I can satire them as much as I like anyway) is that upon recieving their Berets after their 72 KM march, CO will walk to them, present beret, and ask:
"Soldier? Where is your brain?"
Standard Commando Answer:
*Point to biceps*:"Here sir! Big or not?"

Well I have a suspected heart issue they could simply never put a finger on, so they put me C9L3... have another appointment in October with the NHC. Might get upgraded... Who knows? We'll see I guess.
From other forums, it seems once I pass e PES C BMT, and get upgraded, it would not make a difference except to the Vocational posting.
Does anyone know what is a temporary and a permanent PES Status grading?

LOL. i dont know which company. the letter just say,direct enlistment into 3 SIR. dont mind give me a brief intro on 3SIR and what it is like?? cos i have totally no clue on what to expect. thks

ahh..i guess things have changed...back in my days, orion was considered 'tough' coy...and sch 1 coys were 'slackers'.but nothing beats my former bmt coy..ninja!!
