Effects into Line 6 Pod??

Hi guys here's my situation,

Wanna switch frm Line 6 Pod 2.0 to stompboxes. Problem is I dun even have a decent guitar amp at home. Right now, I'm pluggin my pod into a BASS amp, which sounds quite decent I must say. Hardly have cash for pedals for now, much less buyin an amp, but I gotta keep the Pod coz may need it in future.

My idea is to leave the pod+amp there and place wadever effects I get in front, since i'll need to bring my effects around. So the pod+amp acts juz like a normal guitar amp, with the effects in front.

Qns: If I place the effects before the Pod, will the signal damage the pod? And how will e tone be affected? Still possible to make it sound like a normal effects-into-amp setup?

Thx for ur help!

God bless

if we are just looking at the beanie shape pod, it is your amp.

those beanie pod been always a amp/cap simulater gadget from the beginning(more for recording purpose without using real amp), but it evolved into people using it as effect

single stompboxes into the pod wont damage anything, you are just routing geetar signal, not power. Just connect your geetar, single stompboxes, pod and try tweaking it to your preference.

before thinking whether the sound is good or bad, try first, tweak first then decide.

If I run my other pedals with my XTL, I treat it like a (very) big distortion pedal, and place what ever pedals accordingly; ie. wah before xtl, modulations/pitch after xtl etc...
