Final update after a fricken year. Been lying around in my room from one corner to the other, waiting for that few final coats of lacquer. I'm done waiting. There are too many dings and scratches to bring it to kustom mojoh kilat2x specs. F it. I'd rather a playing guitar than a few pieces of wood, plastic, metal and wires.
Here you go, with imperfection dings and semifinish lacquer.
Neck: USACG Baritone scale telecaster, Mahogany with Macassar Ebony fretboard. Abalone inlay. Stained rosewood and oil finish.
Body: USACG Thinline Tele, Alder with wild maple top. Fabric dye Dylon stained top with RJ dull lacquer coat.
Electronics: GFS tele pickup set. The hugeass pole pieces one. 3 way toggle, 1 volume 250k, 1 tone 500k, 360pF treble bleed polystyrene cap for the mojo and 0.022uF sim lim grade mylar cheapass tone cap for the non mojo. Neutrik locking panel socket for the locking mojo. Macam I'd ever play on stage!
Hardware: Wilkinson compensated saddle bridge from GFS. Planetwaves locking tuners. TusQ preslotted nut. Triple strap button for the Anderson Mojo, now the guitar stands like it should! Stainless steel screws used wherever possible.
Strings: Elixir baritone set. Best baritone strings evaaah for B tuning.
