hey im only 13 and i like need to earn money to buy my own gear and stuff :(

is thr anything like i can do to earn some cash so that i satisfy my hunger for guitars xD

thx :)

considered busking but underage to get lisence -.-

Get a part time job during your holidays. There're some temporary assignment type jobs you can look at since you're still a student and long-term part-time jobs won't be available to you.

when I was 13, I was learning how to fix computers so I can do it for people and earn money to buy the things I want, to do recording.

when my dad was 13 he was disowned and smuggled alcohol so he could survive in SG

so for "need" or for "want" ? what kinda guitars? are we talking about needs kapok/samick/ltd/copies or luxury items like fender/gibson at your age? how far would you go to get what you desire? would it be easier to just take a loan from your parents instead?

gd luck!

tbh at your age it's pretty hard to get a job unless you wanna go for mcd.. and the pay is crap.. good luck to you :)

imkeith, do you know how much is the pay at mcd? I always hear that it is very low but never found out how much.

last heard was 3.50/hr but that was afew years back.. well atleast you get to have mac for your meals.. tho in a long run it's kinda sick

Haha thx for ur ideas guys :) actually just wanted to do smth during the holidays since im bored and i want an epiphone dot xD.. so no choice gotta prove with results >.<

when i was 13, i was still looking at magazines & drooling at some of the most desirable guitars. there were no intentions of buying one because the price was prohibitive. but that was then...

when I was 17 I worked at long johnsilvers for $3.50/hr but the restaurant manager scammed me and paid me $3 instead + he clocked out whenever I OT and covered his ass cos the other guys were unreliable and MIAed when things got tough. threatened him to take it up with M.O.M. then he refunded me + "settle-out-of-authorities" cash.

be careful of ppl "makaning" you just cos you're young.

study hard or go library read up or buy those ultra cheap 2nd hand ones. can play can tune can already. you'll go far in the long run with basic necessities.

Current i heard it's 4+ or 5, but if you work night shift it's different, should be higher. (hear from my friend, not personal experience.)

hey, at least u have a guitar thats playable. some of the great guitarists started out with stuff that was barely playable and they still became what they are now..

going back on topic..its quite hard to find decent paying part time work when you're 13. if u really want a job then prepare to work long for less.

Im working at macs to buy myself a guitar and to pay my drum fees.:x
Macs is.....super tiring...
the pay is about $4.50/hr.
you get yourself a free meal at the end of the work
im 15yrs old and i find it super hard for me to concentrate on my work and studies.
Mac is really........ :x
but still, i'll work hard to pay my drum fees and to buy a electric guitar :D
think twice about working at 13.....
im 15 and i already find it difficult to cope with both my work and studies :D

I was approaching my twenties when I got my first electric guitar. So be patient, and be glad for what you have at that age... :) Electric guitar by itself can be quite an expensive hobby...
