DS-1 vs. Tubescreamer

now this is too much. How can anyone be dodgier than ahseng????

I must reveal my identity now. I AM AH SENG and I'm dodgier than the dodgiest dodger and dodgier that Roger the Dodger.

And if you can agree with that....

*brings out mirror ball, strobe light and fog machine for the dodgiest DS1 mod*

HAH i finally forced you to reveal your true identity u dodgy pedal maker.

nice mirror ball suit, love the glasses. :D

can i get a free Rice EMO-luator?

i kinda like the mid boost on my TS7. Especially when used as a boost with gain=0, tone 3'0 clock, placed after my GT2 on center/hi-gain/mesa setting.

makes up for the lack of mids and sounds great as a solo boost

+5 on the mid boost.

imho i think its a personal taste la when it comes down to this, pseudo mid boost? i always thought that the ts9 was more for that when tweaked properly
or even a sparkle drive for that matter

Hmm, if it actually does that its probably a good thing. Sometimes cutting frequencies is better than boosting frequencies. Boosting tends to increase noise and gain, which might not be what you want, as compared to bringing it to a lower level, giving you more headroom.

Wha, what's with the dodgy ah seng? Who's that and what's with the ball?? :?

started out with a ds-1... had it modded by edwin at WUMM... sounds nice!! with a more compact bass... had fun with it...

den i bought a keeley baked mod... paired it with my modded ds-1... hell... i wuden even need a cs-3 to sstain my notes... lurve it man!!

warm tone... i like :D

the thing is... ds-1 and ts-9 are 2 completely diff pedals... i mean u can hear tat distortion and overdrive are 2 completely diff things... and u cant exactly judge apples and oranges together can u??

juz keep experimenting with pedals to get the tone u wan... i did... and it werks great...

The multicoloured LEDs can affect your sound when its on and flashing... i dunno the correct terms but some guy insisted on having multicoloured LEDs done by Randolf, and there was this thumping everytime the LED changed colour.

Needless to say, the dude wanted to play more than techno music in at 1 tempo for the rest of his life.

So he because a cliche LED light user like us.

the thumping is due to the voltage/current changes when the LED changes color. there should be a work around for this but so far the D.I.S.C.O. LEDs that I've used have been relatively Eurotrash Techno free.

I need to find one that does DnB. Then I'll call it the HardStepJunglemeister DS-1 mod!

While D'n'B is making a ssssllllooooowwwww comeback, you should stick with electro lah... Milk the trend for all it's worth!!! Milk it!!!

Did you know that Ace of Base sold 42 million albums worldwide? Just 3 million less than the Gallagher Bro.s?

Wanna form a Eurotrash band?
