Drum repair shops

I'm a noob when it comes to drum gear. Recently, my snare drum screwed up. The mechanism to make the snare wire touch the reso side can't be activated. I have no idea how to fix it. I left it alone for 2 weeks prior to that. Sounds too short a time for a good Ludwig drum to spoil on it's own.. I think my maid may have dropped it.

Do you guys have any idea where I can get it fixed? Thanks

you mean the snare strainer? perhaps there is rust present and preventing it from moving smoothly? fellow softies here should be able to help you. lols. otherwise, you could head down to music theme/ranking. the drum techs there should be able to help you with it.

It could be many things. You might want to bring it down to 150 Sims Drive to get Swee Lee's service centre to take a look at it. For contact details check www.sweelee.com.sg.

another alternative is take some photos post it up. maybe we fellow softies can diagnose and help you. YEP!
