hey alvin bro (and all the others here), i have a little question to ask you.
izzit true that practicing using air drumming = no use at all?
well, to be honest (trying not to be shy here, just throw it all out, haha) i took up drums about slightly less than a year ago, but i dun feel any improvements, especially timing and stuff. Even worst i feel like i'm deproving. and its really really discouraging. The simple beats, and simple timing i can do, but i dun feel any improvement at all.
I don't have a drumset at home (lack of space & $$). Thus the only time i'm practicing is either air-drumming at home with my sticks, and jamming time (which we play songs). Recently got this pedal and have been practicing at home, although i know its a little too quick to say, but i feel like when i'm jamming, i can't play the double pedal well enough at all.
-Should i start all over again from the basics?
-Get a drumset?
-how exactly to keep time? (i know the importance of the drummer as a time keeper)
-Or should i just quit it once and for all because i have no talent.
Rather long post, but need some help from all you bros.
