Does made in china really suck?

Yes~

ALL Im saying is that it doesnt matter Where your Guitar is made~

IF your talking about Factory made guitars then its a very Slim chance~

However if the guy in USA who made your particular guitar is sloppy then thats what you get, but if the guy in China Makes a good Piece then great for you.

Thats why you should ALWAYS PLAY the shit out of ur guitar before you buy it and Nail everything before you decide or end up like me.

YEAH! Its all about how the guitar feels in your hands.

Surprisingly the guitars I've tried and found to be my favourites are either MIC or MIK, but it doesn't matter. From what I know, Ibanez has one of their own at their Chinese and Indonesian factories to maintain their high standard of QC. I'm sure other brands do the same :)

So yeah, if I played a MIA Jackson and a MII Jackson and the MII feels better to me, I'd seriously take the MII. Even if I could afford the MIA.

My made-in-china nike really sucks. Got no air inside. Bloody hell dont ever buy china nike. Vietnam ones better.

for me china is GOOD but got some QC leak ... maybe like 1000 guitar produce 700 of them is good, 300 of them is like shiit ... i tried the same model of the epiphone made in china ... 3 out of 4 is good, that one guitar suck like crap ...

but imo MIC>MIK>MIJ=MIA

Lol!

Sorry, I'd go for thai made over china anytime anyday! China made are just too stuck up and are too fake during action!

700 good, 300 bad? i thought you'd say it the other way lol..

it just depends how strict the guitar company emphasizes on manufactoring... no matter whether it is MIC, MIK, MIA...

just get the guitar if u like it...

Plus 1! You tend to lose some musical sense when they make you go "faster, faster, and faster!", like shredding! Gotto take it slow and easy with the Thai-made - drives those "blues" outta me!

it sometimes depends on the brand you are talking about. more reputable brands ie. ibanez, epiphone would probably have relatively better(or stringent) quality control as compared to those of lower end squiers and such.

Ibanez has Japanese inspectors in all its factories (whether it be the Indonesian, Korean, Chinese or even the Japanese factory) which is why you can find consistent quality throughout. Companies that trust their own inspectors rather than those from outside are obviously gonna be known to be stricter.

It also helps that Ibanez does not release its entry level guitars under a different name, so they would want to make GOOD entry level guitars so as to keep the good reputation of the brand name. Hence, Ibanez's entry level guitars are actually decent guitars but with cheaper parts. To make it a professional instrument, changing the parts will do.

But essentially, people operate machines and oversee them, and thus all guitars are essentially at least partially hand-made. So you can't expect PERFECT quality (as in, no flaws at all) in any guitar. That's my opinion...

Some Epiphone pieces are really well-made, but some are really terrible. I'd say they're very inconsistent. Consistent quality-wise, when comparing with Ibanez, Fender makes a more worthy adversary.

For some models I guess. Other pieces might have other flaws. On my GSA, the most obvious flaw is the rather uneven treble side of the fretboard. Hard to find observable flaws on most guitars. Usually the flaws only come to light after owning the instrument for some time.

there is no perfect guitar for me too.the feel of the guitar is my priority.be it a rickenbacker or some kuku brand.
