Does Anyone knows whens the next coming Swee Lee sales?

Sales at Swee Lee

The longer you wait the more frustrated you will be.Therefore, decide what you really need not what you want and go down and grab it. You'll feel better.

..

i dont know if i shld agree.but on their website it says 110+ for their Boss Md-2 Distortion pedal. In store its like 180+ and after discount its like 100.
seems fishy i shld say :???:

i dont know if this is a tactic to increase sales..
but seriously man, its either they hike up the price, then give a discount,
or something else..

the price for the ch1 was normally 112.35,
i went there and it costed 180+..
if customers were given 40 discount, its only a few percent technically..

the dd3 cost 182..
i went there and it costed 300+..
i was seriously shocked..

its not really 30% or 40% afterall..
i was so disappointed..

even the cs3 price was hiked up..
160+ from 90+bux..

HAHAHA. i suggest you check the price of an item in the website, bras basah showroom and the sims drive. dont be surprised if they're all different.

yeap really sad but i agree with rockassmonster.
Epiphone Les Paul std on their web is 770.
in store its 1.4k (dude its 2x the price man)
is there any explanation for this?
i really want to know.

I heard that the price on their web is after discounts, besides, their products are quite costly...

I suggest you guys form a union and go down negotiate terms with swee lee management with regards to their pricing policy, else, just quit complaning altogether.

This issue about swee lee overpricing their products have been surfacing year after year and I see new people joining the ranks of whiners year after year.

It is either you live with it, or do something about it.

For me, I have moved on. But to note, I am really pleased with the 50% sale they had for the previous years. I bought a couple of guitars and pedals from em' @ the sale.

Agreed. If you dont like it dont buy from them. No ones forcing you to. Theres always overseas but then u complain about shipping fees and gst. Sad to say we arent born in the usa where the goods are manufactured. You want an item? Pay for it. If not get it 2nd hand.

haha me too~ but i think it's quite expensive for an american std fender to cost 3.4k...

Hi All,

To set the records straight and clear, there are always a Retail List Price and a Promo/Sale Price.

Even when you see the prices on webstore which states eg: $112.35, it's a web discounted price from our Retail List Price of SGD$ 187.25 (which you can see on the tag of the pedal in the showroom)
If you go on to the store, those on tags are usually the Retail List price itself before any discount. Hope that clears some air.

As for the rumours about us hiking up prices before Sales, this is very unfounded and we hope Softies could be more concrete in such statements.
All discounts and promotional packages are usually a slash off from the Retail List Price suggested by individual brandings.

Please do not hesitate to contact us @ 6336 7886 for more verification on prices, promotions etc. We will be please to assist you in any way.

Cheers,
M.I

i apologise in any way i can..
but i think it is important for u all to quote the prices on ur web similar to what u have in store..

actually its nthing wrong having diff price on web and in stores. cause normally buying on9 will be cheaper, in other words they sell it at a lower price. similar to singtel, their on9 shop phones have better promotion when compared to thier hello store. :) hoping there will still be 50% sale lol.
btw the gss is oni at bras or also at sims branch?

thats true. but Epiphone les paul std on their web 770.
in stores its 1.4k thats a huge different i should say.
to have less confusion (this is just a suggestion) i agree with rockassmonster to have prices the same as on the web store and in retail stores.

its only in brash basah outlet if im not wrong.

price differences

yup, i aso agree that the price difference between the web n the price tag in their store can be pretty confusing, it might make me think am i really getting a discount although i know that there is really a discount :D

I noticed that some guitars in swee lee showrooms had their stock parts changed. Probably that's why the price jacked up to 1.4k? Also, I remember that there are epiphone lp standards in the BB showroom that's around 1k. Probably after discount would be around the same price as the web one.

really? any examples?

Check out the epiphone's pickups lp standard in the BB showroom. If my memory doesn't fail me, they look different from what I commonly see on the internet, which surely are stock pickups (those silver-coloured ones, without any labels, looks plain). Then again, I might be wrong. Best to go down and check it out yourself.

dude. the stock pickups are not changed. The one at the BB showroom got the stickers on it.. and on the website, they took off the stickers luh.
