The "High on life" TV show, Channel 5 March 19 (I know this because I blogged about it so I checked my archives) supposedly supposed to promote getting high on life and music instead of drugs for example. It was SO FREAKIN OBVIOUS they lip synched. I'll give slyvester the credit for covering his mouth with the microphone and his hand to hide it. Olinda FREAKIN MISSED A FEW WORDS.

I have clips of lindsy lohan lip synching and ashley simpson lip synching. In fact the whole band was synching. Bloody hell. The pop singer industry is a very sad industry aiming at goo goo eyed teenagers. They shall get no support from me.

I hate people who lip synch.

Yea he is definitely a part of the local music scene. I used respect each and every successful one. Even the recent Project Superstars thing. Now those sing hell better than SIdol. Ok but that's the point. The reason why i started disliking and dissing Syl. Sim is because of that claim that his Epiphone ZW Les Paul cost him $5k. I remember Praetorian or someone posted that particular magazine article here quite a while back. Do a search, you might still be able to find it around.

ai oh, lip synch is normal, part of the operatus standard for those kind of show sometime, can't blame them. Its all entertainment for the masses, if we belong to the minority, it's also nothing to be righteous about, just my .0002 cent.

As for the 5k epi zw(yes, i read in that mag, think it's lime), if he really gotten it at 5k, we should be happy for him right, and if it's not 5k, then we should be happy for him also, since he thought it's 5k worth :lol:

LoL. It's a classic example of being unwise. Putting up a big price tag to fool the ah lians and ah bengs, but it certainly doesn't fool us at Soft, nor does it the many musicians out there.

I'm not quite for the lip synching thing. People do know. Had i been in the shoes of them lip synchers, i'd feel like i was cheating the audience, after all they did spend their time and effort coming down to watch you perform even if it was just one song. I'd definitely respect artists who'll tell the management they won't lip synch regardless of circumstance.

yea .. i was told . sly went to sims drive swee lee. and tried out the zakk wylde epiphone guitar . he played some pentatonics stuff also .. hah

and he got a PEAVEY JSX along with it .. tts why it came up to a sum of 5k .
and he uses it for home practise .i was told .

Ultimately, how and what you say can really change or set people's perception of you, and especially damned so when you're an artist. Syl. said the wrong things, caused and uproar, got the shit, and lost the respect.
