Yes, I reported police. I don't know her, I've never met her and she didn't even want to pick up my calls. She only replied my messages. I don't even know if i were texting a man or whatever.

I found her on the website and contacted her through e-mail and sms. I was never a member of SOFT. This is definitely a genuine case otherwise, she would have replied to clarify. And right now, she has nothing to explain over her lies. I wanted to warn others about her actually and found this thread by accident. She sure has a problem.

3RD VICTIM of Mrs KOO (WARNING)
Hi ReallyUpset and dazzling717,
I also had the same experienced as you. After she received the full payment of a set of 10 lessons, she would never come again. She will put up alot of excuses, just like the 2 of you experienced in.
I am the 3rd victim after the 2 of you, but apparently there were not only the 3 of us. I have at least known another 3 victims from another forum, beside us. So in total, so far I have known 6 (SIX) VICTIMS of her misconduct. (I will share with you people about the other 3 victims experiences on my next post.)
I also purposedly signed up for SOFT account to share some info about her that I knew, so that no more people will fall into the same TRAP.
I'm very amused that she still dared to even reply to this threat a few times at the beginning.
These facts below are summary from all the info that I gathered from other victims.
EIGHT FACTS/INFO about MRS KOO:
1) MRS KOO = MS TENG DAI WAN. She used the name teng dai wan somewhere last year (2008 ), and only started to change to mrs.Koo around april 2009 (from my own observation).
(This I have confirmed with a mother which was also a victim of her daughter's teacher called ms.teng dai wan. The description and everything about her are exactly the same as what I knew about Mrs.Koo, and we concluded that they are indeed the same person. People who were the victims of this person would understand why these 2 names refer to the same person, after reading my 2nd post after this.)
So, WARNING: We might not know what name she will use after this forum incident, as she had indeed changed her name and phone number after that mother's incident last Dec 2008.
2) She had a MASTER degree of music from Michigan University since last year 2008. But now (starting from 2nd half of year 2009) you would never be able to find a post from her stating that.
You would instead find that she now has a diploma from Australia and a degree from UK.
3) She is indeed a good music teacher, but with one condition: ONLY IF she COMEs to conduct it (which she somehow always failed to do - more than 15 times cancelling lessons she made with me).
And the PROBLEM is: She would NEVER come again after RECEIVING the LUMPSUM PAYMENT.
Its the same old thing that you have ever heard from the other 2 victims, she would always cancel her lesson appointment, and do it LAST MINUTELY (a few hours before she were supposed to come). and she would come up with SO MANY different reasons.
4) FACT: I learned from the other 2 victims of the other forums (lets say they are A and B), when this person said she couldnt come to A because she was sick, on the same day she actually came to B.
A and B were accidentally met together (I didn't really know exactly how they met, was it from forum posts or accidentally at police stn) when they were reporting to police and talked about it.
5) From the victims' experiences that I observed (including me), she would normally irresponsibly asking her student to register for exam. And then left them hopelessly to enter the exam with little knowledge about it, as she would never come to conduct lessons, after receiving payment.
6) I saw that she told ReallyUpset that her dad has passed away. I was really surprised! As I knew from her that her dad was recovering very well after an operation and STILL alive. And I am very shocked that she can lie until that extend!
7) I know from victim C (from another forum), that her husband (if he were really her husband) caught into huge gambling DEBT. So this might be one of the biggest logical reason of all these problems caused by her. As she also told me that her husband is giving her alot of problems. so it matches. (Though its really difficult to tell whether she were lying or not, as most of the times are lies.)
8) FACT (Again from A): when A reported to the police stn, she found that there were already 23 claims against her! And that was dated before 23 Jan 2009.
So I wonder how many there were already by now...

It is really bad. Our money is an honestly hard-earned, but she can simply get so much without doing her responsibilities.
And until now, I haven't gotten back my money nor any lessons from her since the last time she came, which was already many weeks ago.

Together with her post stating that she had a master degree in music from Michigan, she also stated that she HAD 16 YEARS OF TEACHING EXPERIENCE. But in fact, she just turned 27 years old this year (This one I also got from her). So, taking both "facts" together, she has been teaching SINCE she was 11 YEARS OLD. So she "must be really good". But I wonder why she has not been famous by now. Or, shoud I say, she is NOW famous but for the WRONG reason.

Her father I think is still alive.

No, its not an abuse. I am also another victim of her. And I have come to know another 3 victims of her from a different forum.
And you can refer to my previous post, another victim reporting to police (before 23 jan 2009) shockingly found that there were already 23 claims against her! If you dont believe, you can read from the other forum's conversation. I have also given the link to that forum on my previous post.
It is shocking, but it is TRUE. It is happening in Singapore.

In my prediction, I don't think there were only 7 victims by now. I predict the number should have surpassed 20 people.
Do you know about the Madoff case in the US recently? If you don't know, go and check from the internet about his story, hehe. He was then sentenced for LIFE.
This really made me think of the resemblence of the MADOFF case, but in much smaller scale. As from what I know, some victims (some lucky ones) managed to get back the refund but have to wait very long until she gets payment from new students. Does it sound familar with the madoff case now?

just want to reinforce what dazzling have said earlier, SHE DOES DESERVE THIS bad reputation. as in fact, she had done it so many times.
Sorry, not trying to be sarcastic or anything to you, but I just want to let out my bold disagreement on your previous statement defending her. she DOESN'T DESERVE any defense by any of you guys. So people, don't try to defend her anymore, as what she had done to us is TRUE.
If you guys do not believe of all this, you can try to hire her to be your music teacher. As she IS a good teacher. But ONLY if she comes. But I hope you guys won't be so crazy to even think about trying, unless you want to be added on her long list of victims.

Besides this, I see there are some opinions between the VICTIM and some thread readers, hereafter called OTHERS.
I am the victim too.
In my opinion:
1) VICTIM shall be quite frustrated and anxious to get back their paid course fee. Because they did not get the service they paid for..
2) OTHERS, as the 3rd parties, can only imagine, but may or may not exact felt what VICTOM does.
Hence, hopefully VICTIM and OTHERS shall be harmony in this thread.
BECAUSE, WHAT "VICTIM" WISH NOW IS TO WARM SOME NEW STUDENTS BEING FALL INTO SAME CASE. And of course get their money back...
I THINK PURPOSE IS CLEAR, WE ARE ADULT, VICTIM IS NOT NECCESSARY TO TALK BAD ABOUT HER (Mrs Koo), SINCE SHE HAS NOT BEEN CONVICTED BY POLICE/COURT. (That's why OTHERS is not agree of VICTIM's comment).
ALSO, TO OTHERS, PLEASE TRY TO UNDERSTAND THE FEELING OF THE VICTIM.
