I am really disappointed and angry with her. I am also one of the Mrs Koo victim. First before her lesson, she can even tell me that some of the music teacher who can't teach charges too low spoilting the market. But I think "SHE" is the one who is spoilting the emotions and interest of piano learner = Spoilting the whole music market as well.
First lesson, she was telling me she forgot to bring my books as she left it at her another studio. I believe after so many complaints, she does not even have any "ANOTHER" studio. Fine. So I thought she is pretty busy and forgotten. Second lesson I had never seem the books yet. I already started to think twice about her personality and attitude towards her as a piano teacher. I BELIEVE UP TILL NOW SHE HAD NEVER BROUGHT ANY BOOKS FOR ME. IT IS A SCAM TO CON MY MONEY!
As for the second lesson, she started to find execuses not to come for my lesson for an example I have high fever etc. Somehow or rather she have been giving the same excuse over and over again. That seem strange can't she find some new excuse. Before the second lesson, she can even tell me to transfer $200 or $300 for 3 months lesson as one of her partners withdraw from the studio and whatsoever. Luckily I didn't believe her. The second lesson, she can asked to come for her lesson and when I pressed the doorbell, she can tell me she overbook herself for piano lesson. She is having lesson with another student. No choice, since I already come all the way to her house, I should not waste my transport fee so I waited 1 hr for her. The third lesson is even ridiculous. When I come all the way to her house, she can even tell me that previously in her msg she said she have a competition and needed to be a judge on that day. But in the msg, she didn't mentioned anything either. And I have to waste my trip to her house. So on that day I decided to stop the piano lesson with her.
Anyway, she even told me to purchase a book that cost $200 and a UK ABRSM examiner flying to singapore for some theory and practical course that cost $100. I THINK IT IS NOT TRUE. SHE IS TRYING TO CON MONEY AGAIN!
Even most ridiculous thing is I paid her to register exam and only up till recent months, I realized that she had been lying. She had not registered one of the exam, yet when last year, I told her about it she still lie via her teeth telling me it is next year. If she is not cheating's people money, why doesn't she paid me back the fake side of the story. I am still waiting for another exam. She kept promising she had already registered. I shall see whether is it true.
That happens from last year 2009. And I am still waiting for her refund. Based on last year, she had only paid me $70 and this yr she only refund me $20. Her reason for delaying is always, she or someone in her family end up in hopsital, she spend all her money on medical bill, Her student keep delaying money, She just received a cheque have not bank in, busy with her grandpa funeral, not in town, husband or bf spending all her money away. Haha...The execuse of husband and bf keeping switching the roles, I wonder that isn't her husband. Sometimes she also forgot which role she is trying to used to cheat.
