The Beta Aivin HM-100 and HM-200 are somewhat clones of the Boss Metalzone, but in my opinion the HM-200 sounds so much better. And it costs only a fraction of what the Metalzone costs... I've tried the HM-100 as well and the HM-200 is definitely better-sounding.

200+ budget? Stack 4 of 'em together~!!! Muahahaha...

Joking... But with a 200 bucks budget, I would say save the extra moolah for other stuff. 200 bucks doesn't mean die die have to shed the 200 bucks on a single item...

Threadstarter - I tried some Wrampler pedals recently.

Extremely disappointed with the noise level. One pedal had so much noise, I'm quite sure it would be unbearable at live volumes.

So - no loss IMO.


There's a Rocktron Metal Planet or something. Cheap and apparently sounds good.
