Hi people, I'm given this topic -Discuss the trends in the music industry for teenagers- for my school project. Need help and suggestions from you guys out there so that I can know more about the trends in music for teenagers nowadays. Pls reply me asap Thanks Alot .

In My Opinion, typical teens love songs which are famous and those on TV. Like Shut up and drive and beautiful girl-.-...

I enjoy these stereotypes:

Group A: People (esp girls) who raves about chinese/canto pop songs

Group B: People who are into popular r&b and etc club-friendly music

Group C: Emos and their compulsory diet of emo music (I'm in this group T_T)

Group D: The rarer few who found their true calling in METAL

A and B make up 70% of my social circle.
Another 25% are into the pop-punk bands you hear on the radio.

Oh yeah, most of them dress up in skinnies with them emo fringes and fedoras but are sooooo metal. Yeah! That's kvlt.

From my opinion, i think most teenagers are in POP and Hip Hop as we can see the way they dress and the music genre they sing in K BOX.

2 years ago i don't recall seeing anything metal on mtv. now they play em sometimes late nights or something no?
