wah if all your guitars are equipped with evos, wouldnt they all sound the same considering the fact that they are all made of the same type of wood?

Old pic of my strat. No longer have that guitar hero sticker on it.

The bridge pickup is a dimarzio fast track 2. Really high output pup for some really tight chugga.

Neck and middle are fender texas specials. This way i have a versatile axe that retains the "twang and snap" characteristics of a true neck single coil and a hot bridge pup for chugga/metal.

Tried and used quite a number of DiMarzio's .....but i've settled for 2 types that is best...Tone Zone and Air Norton. And of course the Tone Zone S for my strat....:)

haha that is far from best to me....your choice of pups is ironically what i would stay away from.

I guess one man's meat is another man's poison sometimes :)

Actually, instead of posting pups and pics, why doesn't anyone here post what they like about their DiMarzios and give a mini review? Soundclips would be useful if any.

Hey guys, I've got a problem with one of D's taken out from my RG570's bridge recently..It says DP125 DiMarzio(bought used & fixed by a friend) but when I google it, it says its for BASS use!!! Pls enlighten me ppl. Appreciate.

Why are these 2 the best? What do you like about them?

Well for Tone Zone is has the sort of the "open wah" sound when i bent the strings....good mid response not too trebly with my settings plus it does have the bassy "chugga chugga" punch...no problems with Lamb Of God heavy riffs.Norton basically compliments the Tone Zone...its like a match made in heaven...combo match i should say.
But that's my preference....i tried other DiMarzio too like Evolution, Super Distortion, Air Classic, X2N, Fred etc its either they are very very responsive till every gliss of you skin to the strings are "picked up" or lack the mid boost that i like for doing solos...
Other DiMarzio's that i wouldn't mind using PAF Pro.....nowdays i'm playing strats more so its mostly the Alnico's, SCN's and the Tone Zone S are utilised...

Those pick ups are no more in mass production but made available only thru DiMarzio Custom Shop.Meaning special order.....DP125 is X2N-B...
