Cheez said:Well, Apple is taking new steps to protecting the name "iPod".
Got this quote:
"Apple Computer has slapped Podcast Ready with a "cease and desist" letter, claiming that the terms "Podcast Ready" and "myPodder" infringe on Apple's trademarks, and that they cause confusion among consumers. The company has been cracking down on use of the word "pod" by all sorts of parties, even though its trademark is for the word "iPod."

So now, we can't even use the word Pod. Imagine what's going to hapen to Line6 Pod. Their Pod products come out before the Apple iPod!

is it legal to perform cover songs in gigs/concerts without the band's or their label's permission?
:?
AEnimic said:it is legal as long as u dun claim it as ur own,or u are not a professional musician, once u are professional musician and want to feature a cover on either on ur album or performance,u need to pay for it.coz as a professional musician i guess u will be earning money from ur activities,so u must pay a part of it to the original creator.i maybe wrong too.
