cool or ugly?

Do u guys like this design, aesthetically pleasing? Or would you consider it too cluttered or messy even. How about if it wasn't reliced?

But seriously, it looks great to me..

Gibson was approached by Hetfield if they would do a replica of his LP, but they declined..

If you remove the cross or the slice, what's the difference between this and a plain ol' Eclipse, right?

Same like you see certain people got interesting dress sense that looks nice on them, compared to a regular Joe with just T-shirt and jeans.

just added a pic of a possible non reliced version. Was hesitant at first cos was considering doing a similar project. Didn't want anyone here to beat me to it though. lols

I kinda liked the relic version more.

Thing about the picture that Dime posted is that the relic is overdone on the body, with the white skull and text being rather messy. Not like how the JH Eclipse is designed.

Also the body of Dime's picture may be relic, but the hardware is not. So It look like a severely beat up guitar. The inlay is also boring. And the bridge SD pickup stuck out too much like a sore thumb.

I personally prefer the un-reliced one. I really like the artwork, but the relic-ing just spoils it for me.

Wait till you see the headstock.the decal and stuff looks like it was burnt right through.
