Coloured neck?

I'm not sure if you all watch Superband 2008. The Yi Shi Jie, on the 15 Sept, 3rd rd Semi, is holding a red strat with a fully red laquered neck. Anyone have any idea how can that be done?

or something like this? This geetar is really red all over including the back of the body and the neck. Its a japanese artist signature geetar from fernandes

YEA! i think that's his guitar! cool. So it comes with that designed guitar after-all.. From far I thought he used a fender reverse neck and custom it himself or somewhere.

But just curious. Is there anyone doing custom jobs like this?

dean's custom shop does this but I think a little outta budget eh? try looking online at like warmoth or something for custom built necks
