sometimes alcohol gets u high, u can scream yell all u want.
Carbonated drinks tends to make u fill up with gas in ur body... so when singing it helps to amplify your voxals...

Hmm.

Is this a declaration of some sort? Or perhaps you just opened up a new topic when you wanted to reply to a question posted in another thread?

no this is serious... i've seen ppl jamming for hours in a studio...
taking breaks outside the studio, smoking, drinking coke or buy a beer and go back to sing...

carbonated drink

Seriously??

Well I've done it before. I had no choice but to drink coke at a karaoke bar. The only thing coke helped me to do was dry up my throat and I broke in the middle of the song when I went high on my key. -_-

Even spicy Thai food didn't help my singing. 0_o

^ wah! dries your throat? coke works the other way for me; it phlegms up my throat so much i'm practically gurgling notes out... :P

Um.
I don't really recommend people go and try this.

It might help you "scream" and "yell" temporarily, but if you can't scream and yell without it, it might be hurting your vocal cords.

oh yea i just found out if u take a shot of spirit 70% content alcohol, you'll get very hot but it'll keep making u gasing out as in wanna burp... and the only way to free is to sing and yell lol...

or another way is to shaft a few mentos strong mint and chew and drink cold water... u get the very cooling effect and easier to sing at ease.

Please note that even if you can scream after drinking the above drinks, dine project your voice out mainly from your tthroat, you ur diaphragm so as not to damge your vocal chords...

just some friendly advice.

cheers!
