Clean booster pedal?

Hi everyone I've a mini kaos pad going into my effects loop... However, it's always not loud enough once i kick it into effect.

What should I use before it? a clean booster pedal,a volume pedal or an EQ pedal? Pls help advise which affordable pedals I can get.. it's crazy how much some of the booster pedals cost out there.. even 2nd hand!

or is there anything I could do with with my signal chain?

the kaoss pad not meant for geetar in the first place... geetar signal is too weak to drive the thing.

to pump up the thing, you need the boost to be at the output of the kaoss pad, not the input...

any boost will do, but must be clean. Some of the geetar clean boost can slightly distort the signal, it wont be ideal to use with the KP.

You could try looking for a way to adjust the I/O levels on the Kaoss Pad?

go through a DI box before going into the kaoss pad.. cheap DI box like behringer can be like $50.. can't remember..

yea, tried it only once, and COMPLETELY SOLD. Fortunately christmas is coming and I can get me one with nobody complaining.
