Wow, having you said that makes me wanna try an ovation already :P. But i heard alot of complains about their lyrachrod body sliding away from your body while playing due to their design.
 
I'm no acoustic nor Ovation player but all Ovation guitars that I play unplugged does not equates tone. Plug in also different story as it is has a "modern" acoustic electric sound. Plenty of zinggg if you like that zingggg. :mrgreen:

Personally I don't like the round back... when against my beer belly. its like 2 round surface trying to stabilise itself. Even sitting down I'd need a strap! :mrgreen:

Haha！I didn't like their round-ed back too. Furthermore their "cheaper" models uses laminated tops. Heck, for that price i could get a solid custom acoustic. But looks wise, i really like the ovation guitar. Gonna try them out, though chances of getting them is not high. :P

just wondering if i have to make a trip to peace centre or can i just grab it from excelsior?
 
Just for clarification, how does the warranty status work?

i just purchased a Vox wah from Citymusic but i didnt find any warranty card inside.

haha, i go there every year end sale, buy something, and i always get good friendly service no matter how hectic it is

2004 - zoom gfx 1 with craftsman les paul
2005 - zoom g2
2006 - zoom g2.1u
2007 - (hopefully a variax w/ workbench =D )

edder, yar that was mi wid mi bro, was really interested in the variax guitar, at that price i don't tink i can get a more versatile guitar, juz gotta set your expectations right, its a modelling guitar, not the modelled guitar, it won't sound exactly the same, but confirm will have a sound i'd love, and its def perfect for studio use

You would have to make a trip down to City Music as stock is really limited for the sale. We'll reserve one unit of V847A for you till this Sat, 15 Dec. If it's not purchased by then, we'll release to other customers. Just approach the counter and let them know your SOFT username.

Thanks for purchasing the V847A. Not to worry about the warranty issue as we are the distributor and service centre for Vox products. Just keep the receipt which will serve as warranty purpose.
