If you think gashaus is geting rich like this, its barely paying the bills. I'm in a position to know. The shows are getting better and we're workin on the sound. The racist tone of a few comments is senseless. We're all wanting it to be a better scene. If the musicians can't bring us together, who can?

Lastly, the ticket sales thing is really making the scene better and getting the venue a bit of revenue when nobody buys anything behind the bar. Should be a coke machine there, not staff. So we tried to do it the other way and it didn't work.

THE WONDERFUL SIDE EFFECT IS THAT YOU GET TO PLAY FOR LIKE 200 PLUS PEOPLE BECAUSE EVERYONE GOT THIER FRIENDS TO COME. HOW OFTEN DO YOU GET TO DO THAT IN THE CITY CENTER!!!

We have to do as best we can or stop havin shows for underage. Show me a way to to do it better.

From what I've been told, bands have to sign a contract upon accepting their slot to play at gashaus. In this contract, it specifically states that the bands have to sell a minimum of X tickets - and if they don't, they'll have to cover the cost of X tickets themselves.

So common sense tells us that if you don't agree with these guidelines, then don't sign it la!

but that's not by the gas haus people though. i think it's from the organisers. if i'm not wrong gas haus requires bands to sell min of 10 tix to watever gigs held there. any add-onn is by the organisers.

IJ is home! goddamn i miss IJ sia.. but gas haus is not that bad afterall.. with free drinks n all.. well, the soundman isn't always that bad.. speak to him nicely n he'll b sure to reply with a nice tone.. well i used to hate the soundman, but yeah u need to loosen ur own self-ego, i'm sure it wouldn't be that bad.. thanks to gas haus for providing space for the people to organise gigs..
