i've been reading thru and boy is this thread interesting.
just a lil background: i started music because of my christian background, playing for chapel and church and stuff like that. my main band im committed to, we're all christians too =)
aiye, a lil question: any of u are involved in the methodist circle? like in truthmin, or in any methodist churches? i'm asking methodist because there are so many combined churches events that i might have met some of you before =)

whoa..has this become a NCC thread..? haha nice. didnt know quite alota you guys are frm ncc as well. well i attend either 2nd or 3rd. was a youth leader n served in e youth ministry like, 4 yrs ago. heh man i miss teenzeal days, the music wld be soo gd, everyone wld be shoutin screamin jumpin u can literally fell the floor shakin, n best of all, u can feel God's presence in there as well.

the reason why death is assoiciated wit the devil is simply because, in the beginning, God's plan for mankind is for him to live eternally. but because of the fall of man, the devil was able to bring in pain, dieseases, destruction, poverty, hardship, death n ultimately, seperation frm God, until Christ took our place on the cross. (dont forget the wages of sin is death).

Please do try dc Talk. They were the definitive Christian Rock band for me. Awesome vocal harmonies between the members and the songwriting and arrangement is just superb. Whenever I need inspiration, I just need to listen to their "Supernatural" CD. Go have a listen!

well, for christian music, me listens to a lot of the new bands coming out like kutless, building429, day of fire, etc. tried the rap and r&b stuff but didn't quite sit in with me, cos am a rocker la. keke. anyways, used to be in sound ministry too...

haha, i feel that the worship team is really annointed, ncc may not have the best of equipment, but because the team is annointed, the worship is powerful. pastor prince also has so many revelations that set so many free, especially on the holy communion, and the things we learn in church apply to our daily life. hehe...just came home from midweek service btw. AH MARK ON SUNDAY!!! :lol:
