Hey, why is it that I get a little distortion-like sound when I play harder on my small clone? Not very hard, even regular strumming is enough to get a break-up. Hmm, maybe ehx accidently put some parts from their dist pedals into my small clone :?

The small clone is really easy to use btw. Nice warm chorus too

^low headroom? maybe lower the input gain/volume going into the pedal, or powering it with a higher voltage.

powering up by battery or power supply? Check your battery if you are.

I'm using the 9v battery that came with it. I get the same results when I use it alone and after a RAT and Bad monkey.. I get less break-up when I put it in the effects loop of my valbee though :?
