Children & Atheism in new Christmas movie

i trust ah loong and our watertight justice systems... if it is not banned in sg then it is OK

but i dont trust our economic policies......

There are many things that aren't fair and fair in this world. If justice isn't met at this case, it will be at another case. This is how the world works.

Let's not complain too much. Singapore's government is afterall doing its utmost. But if you want to ask me what's so wrong about their policies, it's the bloody education policies. Screw them.

Why can't we be a Switzerland?

Resurrection isn't solely a Christian teaching. Gnostics believed similarly - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gnostics.

Islam has similar teachings. Buddhism does similarly. Hinduism, too. It's in the manner that they 'do their thing' that is different.

And of course, the SIngapore governmnt is doing it's utmost which is unlike any other governments as they only seem to be doing a little, or worse yet, too little. The Singapore govrenment are even paid the highest in the world, by theior citizens, because only the SIngapore government does its utmost.

The Singapore government is even better than the Swiss government. Just take a comparative look at their salaries and you should know which is the bestest government.

Salary is not the best gauge to judge the effectiveness and efficiency of a government.

Let's compare Singapore's GDP and Switzerland's GDP. And one more thing, Singapore has a port. Switzerland doesn't.

NKF case how to explain...... was justice met?
NKF case was fair. i feel that the public got over-passionate over the issue. the law works on a system of precedent. if you look at the number of years henry thia (did i get his name right?) got for embezzling millions of dollars from SIA a couple of years back, the amount the nkf board koped COMBINED is meagre by comparison. and yet, people wanted to put those crooks away forever. would they have been satisfied? yes. but is that justice? no. so in my books, the nkf judgement is fair

that is true. alot of the success of this country comes from the people. take no credit away from ourselves. singaporeans slog like animals

if you wanna compare policies, ask yourself why
- gst and government spending both increased, during a boom time
- minister's salaries increased
- inflation, because the economy was being overheated by the construction industry
- cpf withdrawal age was increased, so that CPF payout would not happen for the next few years

why create so many jobs now when the economy is thriving, instead of in 97 when they let the axe fall on thousands of hard working singaporeans?

atheist or not. if you are firm in your faith. it won't matter to you, just purely entertainment. besides, its a childrens' movie, i don't think little ones actually see the deeper side of the film.
