Can you hear 'those' ringtone?

i see these advertisements about super high frequency ringtone that only few can hear. does anyone has them? is it really true?

if yes, which handphone are you using?

the ringtone works..but the advertisement doesn't...that's the weirdest thing..I always hear nothing when it's the advertisement..but when my classmates switch on their ringtone..I can hear it...

I'm not sure about the advertisements, but it rings damn loud in the library when my friends use it as their ring tone, and the annoying part about it is that the high pitch sound can't be heard by the librarians (sometimes), so cannot ask them to shut up haha.

I've heard from people that people above 20 or 30 cannot hear that high frequency sound.. I dont know whether true or not. But my mother cannot hear haha

its best not to be able to hear it, some of my friend complain that its very irritating when people play with it. i dont hear it at all, and its like, hear no evil. i think i jam until eardrum spoil already cant hear high frequency.

I used to be able to hear from the ad...but not anymore, lol...but it works on the phone as an irritant!

The older models of handphones cannot produce the sounds, and the pitch produced will be output differently, as it is not in the frequency range of the speakers. Like old N-gage, the sound come out very low pitch. But i have a better N73 phone now, can hear, my parents cannot hear.

mobile phone speakers are nothing but annoying top end anyway..most newer ones should be able to put out a 20khz tone..thats what im assuming the ringtone is..

my phone model is a sony ericsson w850i and it can produce the tone.

I am at the age where I can't hear it as well anymore on low volumes.

don't worry,some of them have different effects...there's some that goes higher and higher...and some are pulsating...some are long continuous (which is the most irritating)
