Calling all Rush Fans!

Hi fellow softies, I just started to listen Rush recently and I really like YYZ because I am able to see the links between progressive metal bands like Dream Theater and Protest the Hero and their origins from progressive rock bands.

Can you Rush fans out there recommend any other instrumental Rush songs or some of your personal favourites?

a good 'starter' RUSH albums for you would be....'moving pictures' and just get the DVD R30 - its a 30th anniversary live of most of the essential RUSH, also you might want to look at X3 a 3 DVD set featuring all live performances from - 'exit stage left', 'grace under pressure' and 'a show of hands'.

RUSH live and in the studio sounds the same as the thee of them actually recreate the same music live...guitars, bass, keyboards, drums, percussion and vocals...all done by three legends......live...no other additional musicians.

'moving pictues' is a must in your collection.
