Alright! Assemblage 23! I just got Meta from Amazon in the mail, damn happy because couldnt get a promo copy for that one. I bet you are the guy that plonked in that additional VNV vote too eh? Hehe

You are the guy who added me facebook :) I think you'll find joining the Singapore Dark Alternative Movement facebook group handy too because there's whole bunch of industrial fans there too.

Nitzer ebb is OLD SCHOOL electro, VNV nation got famous by touring with them. Alot of classic tunes. Check out "lightning man" and "Join In The Chant" (1987) - two staple songs in most goth DJ's arsenal. The latter song has a bassline that has been ripped off by many trance jocks/producers in time.

i was just kidding on the macs bit.lol.your place would be enough to fit in all of us?

as of now its still okay (if only I still had gashaus sob)

incidentally, I set up an automated registration system for SDAM members to sign on (I'm lazy lah) - so if you want to leave me details, simply email "SDAM REGISTRATION" (without the "", all caps) to saito@outbreed.org and you'll get an attached excel which you can pop in your details.

Faster this way because the rest of that bunch will also be invited to industrial appreciation too anyway :) could probably make it a larger social gathering which could be more fun

was a manson fan for many years until you get to listen to more specialised stuff

Not industrial metal - Industrial.

Industrial is far more thumping than Industrial Metal.
You gonna play some God Module at this meet up of yours?

Its looking like a night event now... and probably some alcohol involved in the process.

Are there any other takers?

Emphirow: dont worry about that for now.

It might be a (Drum roll) INDUSTRIAL CHALET

wow. Industrial.
tho not a big fan but i do give them a listen sometimes. And when i say "them" i mean nin and old filter. ( please don't flame me )
Anyway. are there any local industrial acts?

I am a fan of those symphonic/power metal bands, but right now I'm searching for bands that sounds like The Birthday Massacre. They're a mixture of gothic/synth/electronica that has 80s influence so I need recommendations for more bands like that.

Or bands that uses a lot of gothic choir like what Rammstein used in Morgenstern and Nightwish used in Ghost Love Score, outside the symphonic/power/epic metal circle.
