30kft from assemblage is such a sad song about a man plunging to death... I personally feel close to "dissapoint" and "let me be your armour".

I enjoyed that one night I had, sadly I couldn't go for the next, I realise that my knowledge is kinda okay, actually! Enjoyed myself completely, the 6 hours didn't go to waste at all. ;D

indeed :) you missed out because sam and I started jamming and writing industrial the next day. And we had all the chicken and beer leftover from the previous night! Hahaha.

Saito,

Sounds good. Maybe something a little simpler this time? Like just meeting in a bar (or hawker for cheap beer!) some night? Unfortunately I don't have the time to be disappearing into chalets for the weekend ;-)

my friend, meeting in a hawker center- the only way we can play industrial would be via portable speakers and that will inadvertedly piss people off. I'll try to figure something out with bars, but the problem is that it seems the majority of the interested parties are only on the verge of turning 18 so I will have to talk to my industry friends on the possibilities. Perhaps a function room of sorts might be more appropriate ^^

By the way, please email me at saito@outbreed.org with your details :)

Oh, I didn't realise that playing music was a requirement....ok, so no hawker then...
Great that there are lots of young people interested. But where are all the fans from the previous generations??? This scene is not new, it's easily 25 years old now !

hey people,

i need some opinions here. i kinda just hooked by up with my previous persona. well not really hooked but sorta remembered about my previous persona... and although it's been a hell long time since i started doing anything remotely industrial (although it's always been my first love), do you think i should get that project back up again?

here's the link to my defunct artist site i posted back in '05. -

check out the 2 songs and let me know what you think! i'm considering cos after a 3 yr hiatus, i looked back and saw that i was listed as 'popular' in the charts. hahaha didn't know people actually appreciate what i do.. so yeah. hit me back! let me know! opinions are very much needed! thanks!!!! :)

well, do go for it :) I believe there will be people (us at least) that will support you. And as far as industrial is concerned, it is a huge scene out there. Things are larger than just singapore :)

By the way, you named yourself after prodigy's dirtchamber sessions

Hope you got my email :) Because I certainly did read yours and *salute*.

anyway - I just got a call from my Leipzig counterpart and there's a likelihood that I might be helping to launch the "Machines against Hunger" compilation here in singapore as part of the global campaign. Talk about industrial charity :)

dammit I couldnt get leave to go to Wave Gothik Treffen this year. Perhaps might be organising a SDAM group to the festival in 09 once the dates are out

casual review!

Pretty rich sampling techniques, albeit ambient layering. Good percussion sequencing which is deliciously distorted (you didnt mess up the high end which is great)- Bloodsport (incoherent thoughts and actions) is a symphony of industrial beats with a curiously absent bassline. Numan/Reznor worthy!

I like the The Process part 2 version of bloodsport better - its more primal and brooding. You set a seriously dark tone in the atmosphere for this one. And a hint of overdriven guitar at the 3:10 mark which gave it a raw feel

Again, incredible sample use. You should pitch for soundtrack stints

Are you in good shape to DJ or perform live?

Hi Saito,

I already have that compilation...

You are missing one of the weakest Treffens ever in my opinion....especially for electro.
So not to worry ;-)

thanks for your review and encouragement saito!

hmm.. you think i should pitch for soundtrack stints? certainly nothing local yes? i don't see anything in the local market that might call for what i just did.

i'm glad u like both the tracks. both of 'em was just something experimental for me. :)

currently, i'll be honest and say that i'm not in the best shape for anything 'live'. haven't been in touch for so long! but what's on your mind? i can try to get up to speed... :)

oh yeah.. haha the name stuck with me since back then when liam howlett launched his dirtchamber sessions vol. 1. and also cos i was looking for a name which no one used so yeah. :)

yes liam howlett's dirtchamber :) - a big influence here too

please definitely drop me an email. You sound like one of us for sure.

saito@outbreed.org

If you are capable of fielding your synth and doing your stuff on stage, I could put you on for a few plans. Seriously, when I did 31 weeks of alternation, I had to borrow bands from metal and punk because there's very few performers along our lines of interest

about soundtrack gigs, you got to look at the international community (which surprisingly isnt hard to reach) - you have your stuff mastered/released?

Mr dirtchamber, did you get my email? when I replied, your mailbox indicated that there was "no such user" rather strangely
