analog pedal has been around since the days of 60s(where most of us, and me also not born yet) and for bigger? Hehe, you have got to check out what maestro, ludwig or hagstrom etc were churning out in the 60s/70s....some of those, by today standard, wooo lah lah...
cable tie, veclro, it doesnt matter, coz everything depend on how many time per week, per month your setup get to be transported over the road, upload/offload tourbus/plane, setup/ tear down on stage...
If just for that couple jamming session or shifting things round within room, to and fro, back and forth, velcro be enough for most. Those dual lock velcro are pretty strong. Much stronger than all those bushy type. Another protection is actually fitting a thick form in the pedal case to let it press against the pedals and prevent it from moving.
hehe, if have to drill hole for velcro, heres one method which some people did(this one not new also i guess, saw this bout 4 years back)Especially for those who dont want things to shift about
Use washer and screws, Bascially all the screws of the baseplate for all effect have to be removed, replace with the washer and new screws. The washers and new screw will go underneath the pedalboard frame and seccure to the pedal base. So bascially the whole board and the effects are as one.
anyway, if wanna cable tie, get those with adjustable lock type. Those are useful for quick release without needing a cutter.
