Buying DD65 or the likes of it...

Hey guys, it's me again, gibs. Well, my parents are still adamant about buying the full set, be it electronic or acoustic, so after much self-consolation, I am now looking at the Yamaha DD65.

I'd just like to enquire on whether this set would be a good investment?
Also, are there other brands that also have around the same thing as the DD65?
