hi guys,

i've got some photo+video for some project i;m doing which requires me to bring my classical guitar outdoor around Garden by the Bay/Esplanade and Botanic garden area.
the guitar never leave the house before, always kept in guitar dry box and taken out only when my dehumidifer is turned on, a bit anxious to bring it out
as I paid alot of money to get this luthier made custom guitar. will the humidity outside significantly affect the guitar much? estimate will require around 3 days outside

The worst is the sun light + humidity. Do the photo/video really require this guitar?

Yeah really need this guitar as the design is unique, (quilted maple with handmade rosette), not too worried about sunlight, as I will be shooting under a shade. It's the air outside (humidity) im worried about.

Oh poor guitar, trapped in a box, set it free! What if jimmy page never wanted to take his 59 les paul on the road? :)

Humidity definitely will affect a guitar although its only 3 days so I wont worry so much about that. I only dehumidify my guitar once a week but thats because my guitar only costs around $3k and I dont have a dry cabinet. I'll probably only get a guitar size dry cabinet built in the future.

That being said, if its worth a fortune I would be more worried about accidentally bumping it. I would only bring it out if the photo/video is worth it. Alot of accidents waiting to happen swinging that guitar around in a photoshoot.
