Bright Strings

Does anyone know which brand of strings currently available here in Singapore are the brightest?

Davis used to sell the DR Hi Beams which i really love cos they're bright and clear, but not anymore, don't know why they stopped selling those.

So does anyone has other recommendations?

StandardValue has Cleartone strings. I haven't tried them, would like to go down StandardValue one day to have a look and buy a pack.

Look specifically for Stainless Steel intead of Nickel for the brightest strings.

^^ +1, GHS has their Super Steels which are incredibly bright.

However they tend to eat frets so beware

Ever tried Curt Mangan, cuz? They seem pretty bright to me.

Bright in relation to...? my afore-mentioned GHS super steels was by comparing them to the boomers, which were pretty bright compared to Daddario XLs.

Hmm ernie balls can be found at luthermusic. I dont know abt elsewhere. But thats where I got mine all the time
