ive heard great things about the YAMAHA apx series. They are underrated guitars imo. Many pro recordings use em. And, they are not retardedly priced.

Listen to Love of a Lifetime by FIREHOUSE. That was layered with an apx from yamaha. Give it a chance, great guitar through the amp. :lol:

i own an ovation anniversary, deep bowled one. imo i think ovations have a distinctive sound and are a very good investment.

lol... then normal acoustic is harder right.. the sides are so thick.. after the tummy pushes it out your arm cannot fit over the side already.. lol.. i prefer to play the semi over my yamaha one.. cos the yamaha one is like.. err. nvm. haha..

I only like Ovation because of Richie Sampoerna... but then... Since when Bongiovi had a good acoustic sound?

i think leak long ago and dried up. hehehe. when i restrung it i went to touch touch.. my fingers turned brown when i touched the batt part. yup yup.

there are quite a few ovation models going for between 500 - 600 in the current sale. These are gd models. Warning only sounds gd when plugged in. Otherwise unplugeed, get a soft sound even city musics own house brand sounds better unplugged.

However once plugged in ovations are some of the best around.
