hmm kace i wanna ask something.. do they still sell deep bowl ovations? now i go past city music and i see all the thin line..

i own an ovation anniversary, deep bowled one. imo i think ovations have a distinctive sound and are a very good investment.

I assume they still do. Give City Music a call or go down have a look to confirm. I'm not into Ovations so I usually just skip the Ovation rack and head straight for the Martins. I used to own an Ovation and didn't like it - sold it within 3 weeks. Its either you like Ovation or hate it. Sounds nice plugged in but doesn't have the omph unplugged. Yeah, seems lots of Ovation fans out there judging by the demand in classifieds but just not my cuppa of tea. Personally, I'm more into the vintage acoustic tones and woody feel of classic Gibsons and Martins. That makes me an acoustic purist so I'm biased in that sense haha.

alittle critical bro! i find ovation bright n beautiful right out the hole imo. Very nice sound, high end is great in the thinner series. Still got balls though!

Warning only sounds gd when plugged in. Otherwise unplugeed, get a soft sound even city musics own house brand sounds better unplugged.

However once plugged in ovations are some of the best around.
