hello guys!

finally i have decided. i went down to get the GT-8 today!

well, its quite similar to the GT-6 i must say. haha. haven't really tweaked my gt-8 yet. cos i am a newbie. anyone care to teach me a little bit more abt this effect pedal? LOL!

Where u get your GT-8 and how much is it? I am interested in it as well. Just want to ask if it can be use with analog pedals as well like put it as part of effect chain?

ofcourse it has an external effects loop...

a tip to gt-8 users who already dont know this:

The amp sims and the Distortion sims all simulate the pedal best at all EQ/prescence /tone settings at 12 o clock....

to get the sound you want set it how you want..set the gain appropriately...match the levels for gain structure....and then use the Equalizer and the advanced eq(in the fx) and place them before your gain section and after your gain section respectively....

Also dont forget to use the blending of two amps...mix a marshall high gain andpeavey 5150 to get blisfful tones....

Also do keep the miced level high...the direct level simulation is very very plastic...

really shouldnt have sold mine man, bought it when it was still cheaper, but didnt understand multi efx at that time, sold it and got a metalzone, wt.f man
