Boss AW-3 Dynamic Wah

anyone has it ? any idea how to use it ?

just got it from a guy ... it's say the wah will come into effect when u strum it ... it's how u strum the strings ?

i cant get it. 1st strum, it'll goes Wah-woooooooo, then 2nd strum sud b the same pattern, rite ? ... but my 2nd strum goes Woooooooooo .... there's some kinda tricks or hardness or something to it ?

i've tweak the timer/decay ... but dont seem to help.

its pick sensative my fren ..the harder you pick the harder it digs in !!

play with it more ...you will get the hang of it !!

it's like i wanna play abit faster but then, the WAH just dont comes as i want it to be ...

SpaTanS, if the Boss pedal is an envelope kind of effect then it would similar to my Tonefactor Analogue Filter.

Listen to that, I was fooling around with it... around 0:58 I use the analogue filter... maybe you can get some ideas.

Its based on dynamics...

How the pedal effect reacts to that, it will be set on the pedal.

What you can do is, using ur neck pup, play some single note lines, on the low E string, low low... like < 5th fret. Just play, adjust ur picking dynamics and stuff.. you'll hear the pedal react... how it sweeps, how fast it sweeps and so on... pick in a staccato style, like jumpy.

I think you were just strumming chords and letting the chord die, so the effect is kind of lost...

you can strum triads, sections of chords, and do it percussively...
